30 Days of Spring Outfits

Spring is one of those seasons that can be a little tricky to dress for. Canadian girls know wild the weather can be, so dressing for the day means dressing for multiple seasons in one day. Here are some of my favourite looks for spring:

Day 1

This look is basically a spring uniform for me, pants, sweater, and sneakers. I chose to elevate this look by opting for a wide leg corduroy pant.

Day 2

A buttoned cardigan is a great piece for spring. They can be worn as a top fully buttoned, or open was a layering piece, or even over the shoulder.

Day 3

Another spring wardrobe staple is a denim shacket. The denim shacket is basically the lighter version of the classic denim jacket, which makes it perfect for layering for the spring.

Day 4

A good pair of jeans are essential for all seasons. A straight leg jean is a classic silhouette that is such a staple.

Day 5

This was one of those weird spring weather days. With the return of snow came the return of boots. I paired them with mom jeans for a “spring feel”, striped sweater, and military jacket.

Day 6

Here we had another weird weather day, so I went with a mock neck sweater in a super springy colour, this hunter green. I paired it with just a pair of jeans, white sneakers, and a quilted jacket. For an added pop of colour, I added this Marc Jacobs Snapshot bag.

Day 7

Here we finally started to have proper spring weather, which means return of sandals. I really like these slides as an alternative to Birkenstocks. Mine I found on Zulily for a really good price last summer.

Day 8

A blazer is such a great piece for spring. Blazers are also such a great way to elevate a more basic outfit, such as jeans and a t-shirt like this. I also added a minimalistic strappy sandal to create a slightly more dressed up look.

Day 9

These pants I styled for winter weather previously, but leather pants can be a cute option for spring. I paired these pants with just a basic white t-shirt and a pair of Birkenstocks.

Day 10

Wide leg pleated trousers are such a closet staple. They look elevated and put together, but feel like you are wearing sweatpants. Again, I paired them with just a basic long sleeve tee, Converses, and a quilted jacket.

Day 11

Another great piece for spring is a coatigan. In order to make the coatigan feel a bit more “springy”, I opt for brighter colours, like this lavender colour. Another good option for spring would be a neutral cool toned colour, such as grey or white.

Day 12

One way I like to elevate my wardrobe is choosing wardrobe basics that have a little extra detail. Here I have a basic white t-shirt with a lace sleeve detail, but there are so many options available right now. I also like to cuff longer jeans when the weather is warmer to make an outfit a little more springy.

Day 13

Here I have basically two looks in one, a basic t-shirt and then a sweater thrown over for when its slightly cooler.

Day 14

One of the key for dressing for spring days that start out cool and then get warmer as the day goes on is layers. Like the previous day, I just threw a grey knit pullover on top of a white t-shirt and did a little French tuck.

Day 15

Skorts are such a great piece for spring and summer. They are so versatile, and can easily be dressed up or down. Here I paired a skirt with a linen top and threw a cardigan over for the cooler morning and evening.

Day 16

As the weather starts to get warmer, I like to lighten up with the layers and wear an open button down shirt instead of a cardigan.

Day 17

A super light semi sheer blouse is a great spring piece. Adding the blouse to a pair of denim shorts is a great way to elevate a look but still be comfortable.

Day 18

Happy Star Wars Day! This look is obviously in honour of May the 4th, my husband is a huge Star Wars fan, and our son’s birthday is actually this day too, so of course we had to be festive!

Day 19

This dress is one of my favourites for spring and summer, it’s just so versatile and can be worn with pretty much anything.

Day 20

A mock neck sweater tank is a really great option for a top for spring and summer, and would also work well for the office paired with a midi skirt or trousers.

Day 21

The perfect oversized blazer is such a versatile piece for any closet, it can elevate literally any outfit. When looking for an oversized blazer, don’t be afraid to shop the men’s section, this one I stole from my husbands closet.

Day 22

I recently saw that the Gen Z version of “jeans and a cute top” is “fun pants and a tank top”. Pants like these ones that I found on Zulily last summer are a good option if bright colours or patterns don’t really appeal to you. Look for pants that have fun details, such as the buttons, in a neutral colour if you like to have a little more versatility in your wardrobe.

Day 23

Linen shorts are a closet staple for summer, and when I style them for slightly cooler spring days, I like to add a close fitting long sleeve top.

Day 24

Finding closet basics with unique details is a great way to add more personality into your wardrobe, such as this classic white button down shirt with a split back.

Day 25

This is a great option for those “I don’t know what to wear today” days, wide leg trousers, t-shirt, and white sneakers.

Day 26

As I said before, layers are essential for spring days, and my favourite way to layer is lighter tops with a knit on top.

Day 27

This top is another great example of a closet basic with interesting details. This white t-shirt is made with a lace fabric to create a little more interest.

Day 28

I’m really loving denim midi skirts right now, they are just so versatile and can be worn so many different ways.

Day 29

As a mom, I really love skorts, they are great when you want to be a little more put together but still have to chase after your kids. This was a family walk by the river day, so the Vessi sneakers needed to be brought out (also why they are so dirty, haha).

Day 30

Here an embroidered t-shirt and cut off Levi’s shorts create a super casual outfit that is great for playing outside with the kids.
